Everything to know about Calgary's Country Thunder festival next month

by Peter Eki

One of North America’s biggest country music parties is galloping into Calgary this August — and we’ve got all the details so you don’t miss a beat.

Country Thunder 2025 will take over The Confluence Historic Site and Parkland from August 15 to 17, featuring a massive lineup of country superstars over three high-energy days.

“We’re beyond excited to bring this lineup to Calgary,” said Troy Vollhoffer, CEO of Country Thunder. “Alberta’s fans are unmatched, and every year we aim to deliver an unforgettable experience.”

And this year? They’re going all out. Cody Johnson, Bailey Zimmerman, and Old Dominion are your main headliners — but that’s just the beginning.

The festival stage will also host big names like Ashley McBryde, Jake Owen, Riley Green, Calgary’s own Lindsay Ell, and more.

And if that’s not enough country for you, the Country 105 stage will be rocking all weekend long with homegrown talent like Hillside Outlaws, Beamer Wigley, and Nolan Compton.

🎟️ Tickets are on sale now, with some sweet summer deals still available. A single-day general admission ticket is $99, and the Bud Light Summer Six-Pack lets you buy five passes and get one free — perfect for the whole crew.

To keep you fuelled up, the grounds will feature two bars, a beer hall, two water stations, and a food court serving up your favourite summer eats.
